About Us
The MEAHH Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded to honor the life and legacy of Miriam Wade, a young girl whose compassion, generosity, and commitment to helping others continue to inspire our mission. Created to carry forward her spirit of service, the foundation is dedicated to enriching the lives of children, families, and communities through meaningful support and impactful programs.

At MEAHH, we believe that even the smallest act of kindness can transform a life. Miriam lived this truth daily, and we aim to reflect those same values—empathy, generosity, academic excellence, community service, and spiritual strength—in everything we do.
Our Purpose
We exist to continue what Miriam started: uplifting those in need, encouraging youth to pursue their education, and offering support during life’s most challenging moments. Through educational initiatives, crisis assistance, and community outreach, we work to make a lasting and positive difference.
Our Vision
A community where every child is supported, every family has access to essential resources in times of need, and acts of kindness help shape a brighter, more compassionate future. Every effort we make is rooted in love, inspired by faith, and guided by the example Miriam set during her short but powerful life. Through our work, we continue her legacy—spreading hope, helping others, and making a difference one life at a time.
Our Mission
To honor Miriam’s legacy by providing scholarships, crisis support, resources, and programs that strengthen the academic, emotional, and spiritual well-being of children and families.
Who Is Miriam?
Miriam Wade was a bright, compassionate, and generous
young girl whose kindness touched everyone around her.
Though she passed away at the young age of twelve, the
impact of her life continues to inspire the work of the
MEAHH Foundation.

Miriam had a natural desire to help others. Whether
assisting family, supporting classmates, or volunteering at
church, she was always willing to step in with a smile and
a helping hand. She shared freely, loved deeply, and
carried a gentle spirit that uplifted those who knew her.

Academically, Miriam excelled. She graduated 6th grade
at Albert Sidney Johnston Elementary School with the
highest GPA in her class of 1993—an accomplishment
honored with a book dedicated to her in the school’s
library. She continued her education at W.H. Atwell
Junior High School, where she was an honor student and participated in Odyssey of the Mind and the Laureate Program.

Miriam was also a devoted member of New Horizon Bible Believers Tabernacle, under the leadership of Bishop Oliver S. Summons. She served faithfully in the youth choir and on the usher board, and she gladly helped wherever she was needed. Known for her generosity, she was even committed to tithing at a young age.

The MEAHH Foundation was established to carry on Miriam’s legacy of compassion, service, and excellence. Through our work, we honor the beautiful life she lived and her enduring spirit of giving.
